Hello, I’m Matt Burke—an illustrator with a focus on portraiture and a broader interest in thoughtful, expressive visual storytelling.

I take interest in the world around me, capturing everyday experiences and emotions. For most of my work,
 people and faces are the main subject;
 I love being able to delve into the human experience, 
captured through the human form and expressions.

I’m passionate about working with traditional materials like watercolors, inks, and pencils, as they allow me to truly connect with the creative process. At the same time, I'm growing as an illustrator by exploring digital tools to expand and enhance my work. Combining traditional and digital mediums lets me push my creativity in new and exciting directions.
